Those against legalizing pot have simply not done any critical research on the matter.
It's far safer than alcohol... For the user as well as society.
I'm a proud recreational user of weed. Usually just here and there on weekends. Vaporizing is the best way to do it in my opinion.
I've never seen someone stoned get angry or destructive like I have with alcohol.
Right now you have hundreds of families moving to Colorado in order to be able to treat seizures in children.... Using a strain that doesn't get you high.
I personally like the high.
If we are truly about individual freedoms, then legalizing weed should be an easy decision.
Some strains are actually great for focus and get you up and moving.
It's time we change the stereotypes and educate people. I know plenty of 'stoners' that are very successful , good citizens.... They just happen to enjoy relaxing with some weed every so often.
Another bonus of legalization is it hurts the drug cartels.

I've also never been inclined to try any hard drugs. The idea that weed is a gateway drug is silly. While a great percentage of hard drug users do start out with pot, there are far more pot users that never try anything harder.
Air is a gateway drug too as 100% of all cocaine users started out inhaling air!

If I were trying to justify my personal use, I'd give you some sob story about chronic pain, etc. but I don't. I do it simply because I enjoy it.... Just like drinking a good craft beer or riding the Spyder..... None of which I recommend doing at the same time.
To each their own..... Which is how it should be in the land of the allegedly free.

i have no problem with legalizing & taxing it.
