• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this Belt adjustment OK? Comments welcome.

When I adjust the belt it wanders from 1 credit card gap to 2 depending on where the rear sprocket is when rotating it, riding it every thing is normal with no harshness. I have a belt tensioner, it has not always been like this. On previous adjustments, the gap stayed constant. Your comments on this are welcome.

Unless it's wandering so much that the belt is partially moving off the pulley or it's wearing abnormally, then it's most likely fine! ;)

These belts generally wander far more than most think, but most don't notice it at all because they think the initial adjustment means it'll never move from there - but they ALL do to some extent! :lecturef_smilie:

Seriously, it's most unlikely that it's anything to worry about; which means it's not a biggie, just normal wandering, so you can......

:agree: I agree with Peter, not to worry about that minimal movement. But would be nice to know what bike we are talking about, such as "Year, Make, & Mileage", maybe set up a signature! Bill

Thanks for the reply’s all, it is a 2019 F3 Limited with 35000ks. The front sprocket's been checked by a dealer, now waiting for replacement. Will probably have to re adjust it after sprocket replacement, not much faith in the dealer where I bought it.
