• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Is anyone using the Mustang seat?

I'd really like to ask someone who has the Mustang seat a few questions concerning their reasons for buying, and did it resolve whatever issue(s) they were having. Anyone?

Think there was someone that was going to buy a Mustang seat and then post back on how it was but I don't know if he got back or what. Hopefully he will chime in.

Check with Patti (PrairieSpyder). She recently got one, although I'm not sure how miles she has on it. It's been pretty wet in her part of the world.

I just put one on my F3T. So far I've just done a test-sit and then yesterday I rode about 40 miles on it. I plan to take it about 100 miles today and that will be a better test. On the stock seat my butt would get kinda sore, then numb on an all-day ryde. I'm hoping the Mustang seat will help. From just test-sitting, it is firmer than the stock seat and I think it'll perform as advertised.

I test-sat on an RT with a Mustang seat at SpyderFest and really liked it. But someone with an RT will have to report more fully.

about 200 miles on mine, much better than stock. Down side is when it gets wet you'll have a wet butt, but all after markets do that. It does move you back about 1 inch. I could only ride the stock seat for about 60 miles before I was in pain. Also always felt like I was sitting on a bowl of jelly.

Like mine a lot! The stock was too soft and began to pinch after a short time sitting on it. Not a problem with the much firmer Mustang.

We got one at Spyderfest...actually won it in the auction. Not sure if there are different models or styles, but ours is pretty plain jane. It is a bit wider in the back I guess. If I had paid $1000 for it, I'd be pretty upset, but since we got it for nothing, I just deal with it. Overall, neither my wife or I are impressed with it yet. So far we have about 1000 miles on it. We're hoping that it "breaks in" and gets better, but just in case, the stock one is in the box in the basement.
