• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you could pick..??

I cannot narrow down a choice to two songs--even if my life depended on it.

I will just list a couple music genres that conjure actual feelings and memories.

Southern Gospel Music. I love the Happy Goodmans, lots of the other groups and musicians featured on the Gaither gospel hour. I was involved in gospel music for years, and these songs still bring tears to my eyes when I hear them. I have a huge collection of records, casettes, dvd, and sheet music.

Early Country music where they still featured the steel guitar, and sang about real things, places, and subjects. The last 10 years or so, add Bluegrass. Grass roots, and homey things appeal to me.

Music with feeling is what turns me on.

I also find it hard to pick two songs but here goes. 1 Thunderstruck by AC/DC-great riding song. 2 Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits-just a great song.

On the Ipod: The New Basement Tapes, AC/DC- Rock or Bust, Adele, Hank Sr, Hank Jr, Hank III, Mumford Brothers, Brian Burns, Rhiannon Giddens, The Monkees, Conway Twitty, Santana, Jamey Johnson, Zac Brown, ZZ Top, Van Morrison on and on so much good music out there!
