They plan to have these in the Dealers hands by Dec. and every dealer should have a demo unit by Nov.

Nov/Dec!!! That might work for you in Tenn. but it's winter in Wis.

You have me drooling over the RT, but I think I'm going to wait on it a bit. The price is just a bit high for me. But I figure a used one can be had in a year or 2, and I'll just keep riding my SM5 until then.

Very enthusiastic account. Bet there will be/have been a few sleepless nights. Maybe the Mrs. will test ride with you; curious about the seat. All sounds good. Happy with our tried and true spyder but it's always great watching a new "something" hit the markets.

I too am signed up for the Freedom Cycle (Concord, NH) factory demo later this month. Sounds like there will be a waiting line for the RT rides.:2excited:

BTW i m in a Stewarts root beer drive in in the wilds of NJ and a guy in a blue Wing comes in parks next to me ..full XM on and i sounded great ..He immediately brings you up as running the wing board and how excited you are about the spyder ..

Factory demo tours don't have the Rt's as of today. Dealer in rapid City
was Saying demo of Rt's should start in Dec

I'm thinking this is much more likely than the Tour having them in Sept. Especially as the RT's the RT-5 have are only prototypes.

I think I'll end up stopping by one day to have a look see while the Factory Tour is there. But I doubt I'll pre-sign for a Demo Ride. I'm going to wait and see what they have and take my chances.
