• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

before 16 Aug if BRP is going to put a bigger engine out next year. Actually I don't care if it only 50cc, as long as it has a sizeable increase in HP and Torque over my 08 GS. I promise I can keep a secret if anybody knows for sure.

At least..!!

you got the secret part right...that's what it is..!! :roflblack: I've got some number stickers you can put on the frunk 1100 cc or your choice. Have found that regardless of the fact many have 990 on them I'm always asked how big an engine it has.. Maybe someone knows..!!

I always thought my '08 GS had plenty of power (is that even possible!?!), but with that being said, I'd sure like to see a larger motor available.

I doubt any dealer out there will no the true facts of a larger engine before Lamont, except the BRP engineers of course. Any info from a dealer, no matter how good they are, is pure speculation at this point. That is my speculation.

Okay Lamont,

Everyone here is sworen to secrecy; what say you on a larger engine for the 2014's?

Doesn't 1,000 CC & up raise insurance rates? What I got in the 2012 is enough to get me down the road I guess. Although I heard they may put the E-TEC 163 hp. 2 stroke in as an option. That might keep some happy for a few days.

Don't count on Lamonster spilling the beans. He has been very tight lipped about all previous developments and announcements and has not released anything to SL until the specific date and time.

I am not on his "confide" list either. Now for the other lists....:roflblack::roflblack:

It will be interesting to see about a new engine size though. The more I think about it, the more I doubt this will be the year. BRP has issues to clean up from 2013 that I am guessing are much more important to the brand. A new engine, and the possible glitches that may come with that could be a little scarry two years in a row.

I am guessing for maybe some tupperware changes as per the sneak peak video, and maybe some new color options. Time will tell. Dwayne has spoken. :roflblack:

I'm not paying to much on a 5000cc bike or a couple of 1520cc either.

So why is August 16th being imposed as a deadline? :dontknow:
I mean; if the World is ending or Zombies are coming, the rest of us would like to know! :yikes: :D

I have my reasons however I can not share it yet, however as far as I know the world is not coming to an end yet. Remind me down the road after 2014 info is released and I will tell the reason for the date.

Only interested in Roses...

My Spyder will get me to SF 2014..but I am more concerned about the rose production then engine size...:roflblack:
