• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, this is our first year at Spyderfest, and we're already thinking about next year. Just curious....how are the accomadations where you're staying? Rate your stay on a 1-10 scale and post where you're at.....You can post positives or negatives if you'd like, but please don't "bash" any place. We're just looking for general thoughts.

Was at the Holiday Inn last year and it was ok. it's not a sponsored hotel this year though.

At the BWCH this year...so far so good. I too like having the bike parked out by the front door. Makes it easy to unload and load up the trailer.

Took advantage of the hot tub last night too...very nice :D

At the Lamplighter, friendly staff, good breakfast in the morning. A little covered outside deck while listening to the thunder having a cold one was nice. Our room was clean though the shower could be bit bigger. The fridge and microwave came in handy too.

Holiday Inn- N. Glenstone

2nd year at Holiday Inn, N. Glenstone close to Lamplighter. GREAT- and quiet, good rate per night. May not have a free breakfast or what not but they have a lounge and rooms are quiet no nice. They will be doing a remodel of the hotel between this Spyderfest and 2017 Spyderfest.

Here with the group at Best Western Coachhouse. Bob D thought this was worth mentioning. Due to work travel I accumulate Hilton honors points. There's a Doubletree close to the Best Western Coachhouse where I could have stayed for free. I chose to stay here instead. BWCH is the perfect hotel to stay for Spyderfest. An added reason is Cruzr Joe and Sheila who are doing a wonderful job of hosting.

Hot Tub? Where?

I stayed at the Lamplighter and have mixed reviews. The hotel is going through some major renovations so I think your room location was a major factor. I was located next to the back parking lot so my Spyder was right out my door. However being fairly far from the office resulted in very weak WiFi signal. The water knobs on the tub/shower didn't match so renovation still going on.

The motel did do their best to welcome us. Nice Spider decorated cookie placed in room. Nice bar with a bartender who poured generous wine servings. Live music beginning Thursday night. Meeting rooms for those who preferred BYOB. Good morning breakfast area. Spyder wash area provided. Friendly staff at front desk.

Definitely a place worth considering for next year if improvements to facility are completed.
