• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So far I added a hitch and connected the trailer I used to pull behind my Harley's. May not be pretty but sure is functional. My Farkle wish list is getting larger.

You could paint it to nearly match the spyder with some rust oleum colors maybe....maybe not. It could end up looking like a 12 year old put it together.

We'll it is already 10 years old and has served me well. Put some new LED lights on it from Harbor Freight. I have thought about paint, I may have to try it.

if it works, don't fix it!!!:clap:

Now I know why they call it a Farkle. One simple mod leads to another. I went to add a back rest today and dropped the pivot sleeve. I did have a rag in one hole but not all the holes. So I ended up taking the entire side off looking for the part. Wow!

Now that I have it torn down I am contemplating doing other upgrades. I have foot rests on order that are due tomorrow.

Has anyone installed the fan can? I do have a hot foot problem.

I installed the FanCan on it initially. It solved the hot foot problem for me, but later found out it cooked my wife's leg off and would bellow heat from around the seat.

The only time heat soak ever got me was with the FanCan. I ended up pulling it off and adding the port fin mod instead. I still have the original drawings, if you'd like to see about extending the fin an inch. As it was, I'd get some heat at around 45mph with the shorter fin and none with the longer. Things just looked more OEM with the shorter fin, so I just sped up or slowed down to avoid 45. Mostly sped up. :D

You'd have to mod the plan with foot pegs and maybe bend the fins to fit, but it may be all you'd need.

ISCI foot brackets

Spent the day Saturday mounting the brackets. Spent Sunday fabricating mounts for two sets of footpegs

High low highway peg mounts

Peg Mounting brackets for my ISCI highway brackets are done. I had an extra set of pegs from an old bike lying around so I made my brackets high low.

All that plastic

Amazing how something so small can replace all that. And now I know what a resonator is.

Makes you wonder why they didn't use that in the first place! With somethings Spyder, it seems BRP was purposely trying to fill space doesn't it? I bet it made a huge difference.
