• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

My last Spyder had a stage 1 and I loved it. Im waiting now to get my ECU back from Wick-It for a stage 2. Cant wait to see the difference! Will post once Im back up and have a good feel of the difference between stage 1 and Stage 2.

I got mine back and installed yesterday. I went for a ryde and it ran good but not as fast as I expected. Not sure if it needs time to adjust or I need to remove the 1 baffle that is on the front end of my RLS cat delete. I don't really want it any louder.

Second ryde today and it was a world of difference. Its a beast today and will get even better when Ricky removes the baffle probably next week.

Just a heads up.. monster fuel next month is coming out with a hand programmer so you'll be able to switch between stock tune and the different stages...so you can have a tune under warranty...you need to take your Spyder to the dealer?....remove the tune..when the warranty work is done..hook up the programmer..put the tune back in.. nobody knows your business...go to monsters webpage...it's there.

Any updates on this yet??

It takes about 200 miles to collect enough sensor input to change to new fuel tables. Out of the box it is on the same fuel tables as when you last drove it. I know people say otherwise, but I have tested close to 30 versions of the flash for Monster Fuel.

After my conversation with Ricky, I will follow his advice and remove the baffle. He explained that the noise level does not change much at all. The biggest difference is the change in back pressure. With the stage 2 tune I will gain more power with the unrestricted air flow.

Just a little Survey for those that have had the ECU Flashed on their Spyder. Could you provide how long it is that you have being riding with the upgrade and what your results have being, etc.

about a year one so from going from stage 1 to stage 2 which is fairly cheap as stage 1 is the big hit.

Loved stage one and stage 2 is great. Hope to ck it out alot soon in these crazy times. Haven't ridin yet this year

I must be the only one not noticing a difference between stock and Stage 1 and its been a year now, i first thought maybe it was a case of getting my ecu back without the flash but I lost my eco mode and I reved it higher than stock rpm limit so i know it got flashed. I even did a comparison with my cousin who is running stock and he actually pulls ahead all the time, he is 20lbs lighter but still.

I'm NOT sure which F3 models have the 89 T rear sprockets...But if yours has the 79 T sprocket and your cousin has the 89 T sprocket you'll NEVER keep up...

tell us more about your exhaust...is it factory or cat delete...if its a cat delete, what brand, and does it have a baffle?...give us more info.

According to Coleman at Wick-It your only looking at a 5/6 HP increase for a stage 1 flash. 8100rpm is the stock redline, did you do 8600 for redline after flash?

Maybe your BUTT DYNO isn't calibrated :dontknow:
