• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

got the call for my se5 last friday!!

Think I might have you beat - my SE5 came in Thursday however so did 3 standard models which have to be put together before mine. Should be finished tomorrow! (I hope)

Got a call last Fri, have been riding my SE 5 since Sat 07/19. It's a blast!!!, The dealer wanted $1500 for delivery and $ 1500 for prep. I knew it was B.S. Told them what I though of the whole thing. They said that the next person in line will gladly pay. I almost walked out the door, but then could not stand the idea that my SE 5 will go to someone else. Ended up paying. No regrets, LOVE IT. Guys, remember, if you pay for shipping and dealer prep they will include it in the sales price, Sales tax and registration fees are based on the sales price.
Got stopped by the cops today, they just wanted to know what is was ???
Los Angeles, placed order 11/07

Please Share with us... :2excited:

1. When did you order your SE5 (semi-automatic right?)
2. Do you remember your certificate number (pre-order certificate)
3. What color is it.

What you are telling us is...

That on Friday, 18th July 2008, the FIRST SE5 (Semi Automatic) model, (as far as this website knows) was delivered to your dealer in ________ Florida?

The rumor had it that they were finally put into production at Valcourt on July 15th. You got your's pretty darn fast! Glad to hear it.

:congrats:

Derwin (with gun pointed directly at head) :cus:

Derwin,
Flying basck from Chicago this evening, thought I saw a wooden crate with a 3 wheeled vehicle with your name on it headed from Quebec. The wait is almost over.

If so, BRP didn't get the info right. Derwin cancelled his SE5 order because of financing difficulties. :sour:

I am happy you got yours! At the same time it is sad to see dealers still doing this rip off....my dealer in COrnelius NC charges 199 freight and set up....my sm5 16,100 OTD

ok..now im getting excited!

Just have to get through tomorrow...then look out se5 here I come Saturday...Kind of like Christmas in July! :2thumbs:
