You are the first one on any of the Spyder forums I have heard of who has had the SE5 delivered. :congrats:

I just did a test ride of the SE5 a few days ago (Sunday July 20) and I was very impressed with the technology of the thing. I intend to stick with the manual tranny, but the SE5 is very cool. You will have a blast with it, I'm sure.

That on Friday, 18th July 2008, the FIRST SE5 (Semi Automatic) model, (as far as this website knows) was delivered to your dealer in ________ Florida?

The rumor had it that they were finally put into production at Valcourt on July 15th. You got your's pretty darn fast! Glad to hear it.

"SE" actually stands for "sequential electronic," although I guess it is accurate to describe it as "semi-automatic" as well.
