• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Price Survey

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
Thought I would do a thread like this at the first of each month to see what everyone is paying.

In the last month ours has gone up 34 cents per gallon.

What is your current price for Regular and Premium as of March 1st.

Anchorage area:

Regular: 409.9 per gallon

Premium: 429.9 per gallon

Amsterdam, NY

3.92 Reg
4.09 Pre

It changes daily, those :cus::cus:.
It could be 10 cents high down the street though, with fuel off the same truck.

Cleveland, TN (Best Local Place that is sold out 80% of the time)

Good Ole 87 - 3.47
Good Ole 93 - 3.77

Athens, TN (There is no local person trying to help, only walmart place in Athens)

Good Ole 87 - 3.59
Good Ole 93 - 3.89

Both of these locations service you with gas blended with Ethanol.
The only pure gas location I have currently is on 87 grade, and is only Cash. But given that, it was 3.59 a gallon.

Given that, I will tangent my rage at the Gasoline industry cause it really doesnt matter what I think, and I will launch a more targetted bull shiatzu comment at Chevron. Thats right "good ole" chevron.

I dropped in and hit up their gas and rolled out, thinking nothing of it, until I got a charge for 126.00 on my CC for my gas. I called some people, I said some bad things, and basically was informed of the following...

"Gas Stations are trying to make sure they do not sell you gas you cannot pay for. It is rare for someone to get more than 100 dollars in unleaded at a time, so they are now putting a hold on more than what you could possibly get to be able to make sure you can pay for the amount if you do not enter some prepaid amount."

What... The... Ever... Loving... Crap? So now that charge takes 2 days to clear, and in the mean time I got 20 bucks of gas. So I am unable to use my card because 106 dollars of mine is tied up by Chevron and the CC companies. Watch your debit cards, this could cause overdrafts and overdraft fees that I am SURE banks wont refund when they realize it was just a hold.

$4.76 - Regular

$5.07 - Mid Grade

I don't even look - High Grade

These prices are subject to rise, ''Considerably'' When the first cruise missiles fly.:yikes:

When I got gas Tuesday it was $3.61 for reg and $3.95 for premium:yikes:. Almost makes me wish I had an RS - not really! Only when I get gas. However, I haven't put in more then 4 gals in a while so it's still not too bad. However, if the prices keep going up, as I'm sure they will, then they should serve it in waterford crystal decanters!!!:banghead:

Are you talking gallons? I ask only b/c I see you're from Canada.

This is our prices per u.s. gallon. No exchange rate factored in. Approximately $1.30 per liter.
Oh yeah did I mention that the Spyder and accessories cost 20% more to purchase on our side of the 49th? :banghead:

So you won't hear a lot of complaints about gas prices from those of us who are traveling to Cuba from this side of the border. We will actually see a drop in gas prices!

The glass is half full.......the glass is half full

As of Today:
Reg: $3.80
Mid: $3.90
Pre: $4.00

We ain't seen nothing yet folks.

What I don't get is that domestic US oil production is at an 8 year high, and crude oil imported is at a 12 year low..... WHAT THE HECK????

In fact, in 2011, the USA exported more oil products than it imported -- this has not happened since 1949 !

We're being screwed over by big oil. How they can continue to blame this on the middle-east issues is beyond me. They also need to stop allowing speculating on oil prices!

I have no doubt we'll top $5.00 a gallon this summer... while big oil will continue to reap more profit than ever before.

But it's not gonna keep me from doing a ton of riding this summer!

The other night at the bar while two guys argued as to whether the glass of beer was 1/2 full or 1/2 empty....... I grabbed it and drank it!;)

In Wildwood Fl it was $3.77 for Reg. and $4.09 for Prem. Well I guess we will have to cut our trip back a little going to Cuba. We were gonna go via Ok, KS and then Cuba, figuring the miles From Fl up to OK,KS and then MO It would cost us around $900 to $1000 round trip in just gas. So we will have to do a more direct trip to Cuba :banghead: I guess that is the draw back of having two spyders. But I still wouldn't change a thing. We love riding our :spyder2::f_spider:

Northern Calif.

$4.15 Regular
$4.29 Premium

PS - We also have some of the highest gas taxes in the country thanks to the "Terminator" and former Governors.

Here in Toodle-E-Do:

$3.79 for regular

$3.89 for mid grade

$3.99 for premium

Two weeks ago we were at $3.45....... WHATEVER!!!! Greedy turds!!!!!

Whatever the traffic will bear is what we get to pay. The disconnect between cause and effect happened years ago.:gaah::banghead:

At these prices i can't afford to pay for gas and pay my chauffeurs salary, so i have to let him go'. :(
I'm going to hate driving the Bentley myself. :gaah:
But in this day and age we all have sacrifices to make.
