• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel (GAS) price where you live

Here in British Columbia our price is currently 2.239 per litre, and there are approx. 3.75 litres to your gal. Sooooo, we are paying approx 8.40 per gal and that DOES NOT take into consideration the exchange rate. For regular, not premium gas.

Wow! I had forgot how expensive gas was in BC! Lived in Fernie/Sparwood, BC in the early 80’s, such a beautiful area! Anyway, gas today at Costco in Albuquerque, NM $4.08 for regular, 87 octane.

In Dec. of 2019 I was paying # 2.15 ...... now it's $ 4.70 ( this is for 87 w/ ethyl in Vermont ) ..... .... Mike

Our 'standard' ULP here in Oz (91 RON = about 85 RON+MON/2 or whatever it is that you lot use :p ) is up over $2.00/litre just about everywhere again this week in my neck of SA; and the local 95 RON gas that I use in the Spyder is up about $2.30/litre this week.... :banghead:

That said, since I'd need somewhat more than just 3 extra litres of the lower octane stuff to get the same mileage/range out of a 20 litre tank refill as I do from the higher octane stuff, then according to my calcs, it's still worth my while to fill with the 95 RON gas instead of the 91 RON.... and since there's not quite the same mileage/range improvement to be had from running 98 RON over 95 RON, there's no real advantage to using 98 RON instead of 95 RON, especially since 98 costs almost another 80 cpl more!! :yikes:

$4.50 a gallon yesterday in Florida for 87 octane. I had a half tank in the truck and filled it back up. It was $66.

This week I took a trip from my home town to the dealership in our State capital Sydney.

I paid $1.99.9 for 98 Octane, in Sydney $2.41.3 160km away - these prices make little sense to mem but judging by the response, I am not alone

fuel prices

Just curious, what the price of fuel (GAS) in your area
:banghead:
Here it varies from $1.699/L to $2.25/L = US$6.39US to $8.51/Gal in NSW Australia

I paid $5.39 a gallon yesterday. Gas prices are taking the fun out of spare of the moment rides.

from 2.18 to 2.29 per litre for reg here in Ontario Canada......

Rob, where in Ontario are you located ?
Here in Woodstock it has been $2.03 - $2.04 per liter for the last week.
Not great. It now costs as much to fill a motorcycle as it used to cost fill the car. :banghead::mad:
