I work with adults with developmental disabilities fka as mental retardation. We could all learn a thing or two from them!!! When I started at my job 17 years ago, there was a little boy in our preschool, I have just learned that at the end of January he will be coming to our adult day program. Yes he is 21, and has to leave state school. I really can't wait to see "A" again. He always had a smile and that smile made you feel good even on the worst of days.

Pets play a large part in people with disabilities lives. The people and the pets love is unconditional. Yes we could all learn a think or two!!!
