Our 6x12 enclosed trailer setup and road trip to BajaRon’s is finally dialed in.
After completely overthinking every single step of this process, we’re now at a point where everything is set up and, most importantly, we’re both comfortable with it.
Here’s where we landed:
We also installed a wireless camera inside the trailer so that we can keep an eye on everything while traveling. We are guessing at least 7-10k miles.
We’ll be heading East from Arizona in our little RV, pulling the 6x12 trailer across to the East Coast, with a stop at BajaRon’s and plenty of rides along the way.
Looking forward to the Tail of the Dragon!

Here’s where we landed:
- Tongue weight at 425 lbs, 13% of loaded trailer @ 3300 lbs
- Trailer weight under the RV’s limits
- Etrack Wheel chocks in the front to prevent the wheels from turning (Clearance is tight)
- Front tie-downs to the shock eyelets (Thanks Baja Ron)
- Side tie-downs to the passenger footrest hole eyelets
- Rear tie-down to the floor
