• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our 6x12 enclosed trailer set up for our Can Am Spyder S2S

Our 6x12 enclosed trailer setup and road trip to BajaRon’s is finally dialed in.
After completely overthinking every single step of this process, we’re now at a point where everything is set up and, most importantly, we’re both comfortable with it.

Here’s where we landed:
  • Tongue weight at 425 lbs, 13% of loaded trailer @ 3300 lbs
  • Trailer weight under the RV’s limits
  • Etrack Wheel chocks in the front to prevent the wheels from turning (Clearance is tight)
  • Front tie-downs to the shock eyelets (Thanks Baja Ron)
  • Side tie-downs to the passenger footrest hole eyelets
  • Rear tie-down to the floor
Had to move the cables that help the door go up out by 1” to give us the clearance needed.

We also installed a wireless camera inside the trailer so that we can keep an eye on everything while traveling. We are guessing at least 7-10k miles.

We’ll be heading East from Arizona in our little RV, pulling the 6x12 trailer across to the East Coast, with a stop at BajaRon’s and plenty of rides along the way.

Looking forward to the Tail of the Dragon!

For anyone who is looking to make a 6x12 trailer work, here are some pictures.

Looks like you are good to go!
Only 1 other thing, make sure you stop and reset your trailer clock at each time zone you cross!
Safe travels.
