February Forecast

Roller Coaster again. Yesterday was 14 above. This AM, so far 40...and supposed to climb into the high 50's. Between 10 AM and 1 PM...we usually get a 10 to 15 degree warm up...all depends on the sun. Partly cloudy at the moment.

Forecast, 50's today and tomorrow, 60's Monday. The fields are going green, the buds on the trees are popping, and some areas...depending on how the sun hits them, trees and many bushes already have leaves. I am LOVING my move to N. Arkansas. :bowdown:

Today the temps were in the 30's and cloudy.

This week the weather will be up/and down, warm, cold,warm.

Also,the maple sugaring season is also most here. The state of Vermont in 2019 produced about 2 million gallons of maple syrup. Vermont produces about 47 % of the maple syrup in the U.S.A.

Hey those aren’t February Minnesota temperatures, had me make a double take there. Forgot you wintered in AZ.

Mid 50’s here today and tomorrow with sun and little wind. Going to get a little riding in before the next cold blast.

We are starting the day with sunshine, blue skies and 20 above. Now it is getting where by noon it will be at least 40. We are supposed to see 50's again this weekend, and then another dip to the high 20's/low 30's for a day or two.

All the bad snow storms have still missed us to the West, North, and East. So far, a "dusting" of snow twice. Gone within 24 hours. We have leaves coming out on the trees, the lawns and fields are going greener every day.

We will do some more miles today and over the weekend. So far, we feel very lucky to be where we are. It's looking like the move from AK was meant to be for us.

So far, 2000 miles on the new F3L since Dec. 16th. :bowdown:

Little Blue--Where in the Hoosier state are you from? I lived most of my life about 2 hours north of Indy. Just moved down here to NC about 3 years ago.

This week has been all over the place. 50s Monday-Wednesday then 30s and snow yesterday (what myself and others from the north would call a flurry and those from around here would call a blizzard...I tease my friends from here and called it a NC blizzard...they weren't laughing). Mid 40s today and 50s all weekend. I'm riding all day tomorrow and probably Sunday after church. Rain all next week but above freezing. I'll ride to work but not for fun.

Today ( Friday) 26 degrees, Saturday 30's and Sunday 40's Sunny, Monday 40's and rain. Tuesday 40's, Wednesday 40's and rain/snow.

We have snow on the ground, in Vermont. Awesome snow mobile trails!( sorry off topic).

Weather people just posted a winter storm warning for Indiana. Calling for 1" to 5" of Snow by Wednesday night.

I was hoping we were finished with the white stuff. :banghead:

The weather people are calling for more snow in the usual snow places. They are also stating "most" so far this year will come. I am wondering if March will bring some "killer" snow storms like we used to have 30-40 years ago?
