There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Good morning everyone! Headed for 45 degrees today. The road in front of my home is now clear pavement. The driveway still has 3" of snow which I have not shoveled or blown. Don't have a shovel or a blower, (left them in Alaska).

Supposed to have 58 degrees by Tuesday. I can wait. The warming trend is on.

I have not driven the F3's in about 10 days now. Already getting the "I want to ride my Spyder" blues.

Last season, I drove all January and February. If memory serves, one or two snow days for flurries to come an go.

Let's see now. 40 + 40 = 80; 80 X 9/5 = 720/5 = 144; 144 -40 = 104°F; Ouch! :cus:

Idaho....the way I do it (seems easier to me) is to take the temperature 40*, double it 80*. Take off 10% 72*, and add 32*.....104*. Same answer but you’re not dealing with fractions (I always hated fractions). Doing it my way, I can do it in my head. Whichever way is easiest for you, they both work.

Interesting! I don't recall ever seeing that formula method. The one I used above I learned in chemistry class in college 55 years ago! What I like about it is that it works to convert from C to F or F to C. Add 40, multiply by 9/5 or 5/9 depending on which way you're converting, and subtract 40. Add 40, multiply, subtract 40. How do you revise your formula to convert from F to C? I'm too lazy today to work it out for myself!

Never have tried to. I’m old enough to have lived with with F all through school so I understand it thoroughly and have lived with C now for so long that I don’t think about it. The only time I have to convert is when I’m on US based forums and then the conversion is only one way. Like I said, i can do the conversion in my head.

F to C & C to F are both very easy. Just enter the temperature you want to convert into the computer and the answer magically appears..... Jim

Went for a nice ride with the Can-Am demo team out of Nash Powersports in Masa. Since they had more riders signed up then the Spyders available I rode my own 2020 RT. Temps in the 70's and a great ride planned.
Tomorrow we do a longer ride!

Monday

:coffee: Welcome back to warmer weather here in Indiana. This morning it was very windy and 31°F. Over the weekend a lot of the snow was melted.

Snow Report....Indiana...6" melting

Today only 36°F, windy and cloudy, low of 32°F.

Stay Healthy .....

A big YEE-HAW from Valley Springs. Today 58/Sunny, Tomorrow 68/Sunny, and Wednesday 61/Sunny. Going to get some riding in if possible.

We did a ride this PM. Temp showed 64 on the bikes. The wind blowing through the Valley still had that cold edge to it.

98% of the snow is gone from everywhere. Only the shade areas have small spots of snow. The roads were all free and clear of snow and ice. It felt good to be in the wind therapy program again. :dg1::riding:

Tuesday

:coffee: Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday, 38°F now.
The sky is clear and the sun is shining bright, going to be a good day.

Today's high 44°F with sunshine, low of 34°F

Enjoy your Day. .......

Yesterday it reached 56°, but today the high is forecast as 43°.

I went for a ride yesterday, but the wind (gusts to 35mph) was brutal. The wind makes it noisy and my neck gets tired. Guess I'll never move to Wyoming like I once dreamed...

Sunny and 80 today and tomorrow here in the desert S.W. No wind, no rain, just a few high clouds. Getting some riding in. Thursday I have cataract surgery. Hoping it will not keep me off the bike too long. This time of year and weather are why we are here..... Jim

Seventy five and the winter liner and gauntlet gloves felt to warm by the time we rode 90 miles. But....we both enjoyed it a LOT.

What a week later high in the 40's and melting the large amount of snow fast

Now I can get back in the garage to get some work done on my bike and vehicles..

Wednesday

:coffee: Welcome back from the cold temperatures, 39°F now. The sun was shining and some clouds. Indiana is warming up for much better days.
Yesterday was the first day of 50°F for 2021......
The Cold Weather is good for all the younger people.

Snow Report...Indiana.....4" melted

Today only 50°F with some clouds, low 28°F.

Stay Healthy. ......

Wednesday hit 58 degrees in parts of central NJ. It was a welcome change to ride with blue bird skies and full sunshine! I even encountered 10 other riders( no spyders though) taking advantage of the gift! Today should be similar but only mid 40's. Enjoy the day everyone.

Thursday

:coffee: Welcome to last Thursday of the merry month of February 2021.
Sunny and 34°F this morning. The last of our snow is melting and Spring is only 23 days away. ...

Today only 43°F with some clouds, low of 23°F.

Enjoy your Weather. ........

Friday

:coffee: Good Morning and Welcome back to Friday's weather. The temperature was 28°F this morning. Did a few errands earlier today. Still waiting for the rest of the snow to melt, about 2" left.

Today 46°F and some sun, low of 39°F.

Stay Healthy ........

We just experienced some of the worst weather that we have had in several years. A week ago we had temperatures at night near 30 below zero and daytime temps in the tens. Snow was approximately 14 to 15 inches in total. And of course most of you know our weather went further south into Texas and did a lot of damage because of the freezing. This week we are in the mid 40s and next week we will be in the 50s and 60s. This last Monday we had a temperature fluctuation of over 71° over the previous Friday. I would just settle for the 71°. Once the snow and the runoff is gone I’ll break out the Spyder.
