Extended Warranty

Did anyone get the B.E.S.T. warranty when they bought their spyder. It extends the warranty out to 60 months per BRP's website. I am not sure if it was the same as the "Platinum warranty" my dealer tried to sell me. The cost in Phoenix was $2499 and supposedly covered the 600 mi stuff, oil changes, a couple of batteries and all the dealer required adjustments. Did not cover tires or brake pads

I believe there are 2 levels of B.E.S.T. warranty offered for the Spyder. Being the mechanical imbecile that I am - and this being a 1st year machine - I opted for the $999 plan that extends the warranty for an additional 3 years but that does not cover the service that you mentioned.

does anyone know what the link is to the B.E.S.T. Warranty information? I haven't purchased one yet and have until the 7th to get it through the dealer. I want to compare it with what the dealer wants me to purchase.

http://www.brp.com/en-US/Related.Products/Extended.Service.htm tells about the B.E.S.T. warranty. I believe it also says that you can put it in place anytime while the original 2 yr warranty is still present. My dealer lied to me saying it had to be put on before the 600 mi service.
