B.E.S.T Extended Warranty

Bought from Sierra Cycles in AZ (520-459-2589), talk to Steve, Barry or David. I think Barry is the owner and David is his son.

My understanding is that the policy is just an extension of the original warranty - you get 3 more years of the factory warranty so there is no need for an extensive policy documentation process: It is BRP's warranty - not an aftermarket warranty.

What I meant by paperwork in my post above was some proof of purchase of what I paid for and if I don't get that in the next couple of weeks, I will give them a call.

My personal opinion of course but $671 for 3 years of factory warranty extension is a heck of a bargain and I am not going to kick up too much of a fuss on how they package/sell it - Sierra appears to be a reputable dealer so I am not too concerned at this point about paperwork. I did pay with a credit card so there is some recourse should I find out something fishy about the deal.

Thanks for the clarification, It’s hard to imagine there would be a dealer anywhere that would take your money and never actually purchase the additional coverage, but stranger things have happened. Sounds like you’re on top of it. :2thumbs:

BUYER BEWARE!
It is very obvious there is a huge profit margin for any dealer selling the BEST extended warranties.. i shopped around quiet a bit and found IMotorsports has the best pricing at that time. then I showed my regular local dealer the quote and he agreed to match it??????? (and I'm talking about $200 variance!)

I just called my dealer also and they were going to charge me $1000 for the 3 year extended warranty. I explained how I was on Spyderlovers and there were quotes out there for $671. They offered it to me for $700 which I am going to do. Thank you Spyderlovers!!

check around with other dealers.. your pricing quotes seem rather high.. try I Motorsports near Chicago.. they had the best price for me and then my local dealer matched theirs so it is very obvious there is a lot of "wiggle" room on the pricing?

Agree, call Thomas with Imotorsports! $671.00 for three years! Great price.

Get the best price you can and understand, if you trade in or sell your Spyder, the warranty goes with bike, no refunds! I found this out recently, traded in my 2020 F3, bought a 2021 RTL, lost the 3 years, even though I never used it! Sucks!
