• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pulled the trigger on a 2022 - factory or 3rd party extended warranty?

First I want to thank everyone that has answered my questions on this forum. you all made my decision a lot easier.
I put my down payment on a 2022 RT yesterday. It's now on order, and should be here in about a week. My local dealer had 4 on their showroom floor about a month ago when I started looking, and since they have sold all 4. But they have one still in their warehouse.
I asked about the B.E.S.T. warranty extension. They don't offer it (I have the number for IMOTORSPORTS that is mentioned here in the forums for getting that warranty), but they do offer one from AEGIS. The salesman told me that the one they offer is better than the B.E.S.T. (covers more according to him) but I am also taking into consideration that they are in business to sell their sponsored products. And of course there is a price difference. I am wondering what the opinion is on the factory warranty vrs a 3rd party one.

Go with the B.E.S.T. warranty. With the unique service Spyders need, you'll likely always get it serviced at a Can-Am dealer. You know Can-Am dealers will accept the BEST warranty. Not worth the risk.

This would also be my concern. You want to make sure that wherever you might need to take it would accept the warranty.

Get the BEST warranty by BRP. Aftermarket warranties usually have the same set of problems. Overpriced, not honored by the CanAm dealers, dubious coverage, etc.

iMoto is one of the best places to purchase BEST. They continue to have one of the lowest prices. You have until the standard BRP warranty runs out to purchase it if you want to wait.

Just for grins, I called my dealer today and got a price from them on the Best warranty from BRP.

He called me back a few minutes later and quoted me $1,099.00usd. I told him that I could do better and could get it for $671.00usd. He said that he didn't see how anyone could do that as they were basically selling it at cost.
I thanked him for his time and declined his offer. He also stated that he didn't blame me as he would do the same.

I then called iMotorsports and talked to Thomas Palmer and purchased my extended warranty. You do need to tell them that you are a member of Spyder Lovers. Do this before your factory warranty expires.
Thomas instantly emailed me proof of coverage with it showing the expiration date.
