• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When I was working I saw a security bulletin warning of the danger of a hot car. A Houston K-9 officer left his dog in the car with windows partly open and AC running. It still got so hot in there the dog died.

That cop should have known better. I hope he got reassigned to some other job.

Kids and dogs, left in cars during the Summertime heat... :yikes:
Ever year, we hear that sad stories . The truly sad part, is that nobody ever seems to learn a damn thing from them! :gaah:

Police K9 units typically have a temperature sensor that alerts the officer if the temp gets too high. I did recently read of a fatality though where the sensor malfunctioned

I was pumping gas the other day, and had my dogs with me. Windows were down halfway and some lady started bashing me for leaving the dogs in the truck. I'm like, lady, I'm standing next to my truck....:banghead:.

But I agree, never leave 'em in the car alone for any length of time when it's hot out. I usually go to the bank on my way to camp. But when it's hot, I'll go beforehand, even though it's more traveling.

 Did you ever notice how many folks just love to throw the, "Holier Than Thou" card? :banghead:

Even when it's completely unnecessary?
I wonder how many of them would appreciate such close scrutiny? :D

Maybe you should have let the dogs out of your truck, so that they could lift their legs, on HER tires! :roflblack:

I was thinking more like what Clyde did to the sheriff's car in Every Which Way But Loose. :roflblack:

The Missus went grocery shopping today, and called the Police to report a dog left in a pickup truck out in the parking lot...
They went in the Store, and came out with the owner... He didn't look too happy! :yikes:

Wow, guess I will have to tell Willy (our chauffeur) he will now have to stand in front of the Rolls holding

the three Giant Schnauzers while we are at the club! What the hell is this world coming too! At least the

dogs were inside the Limo in the comfort of Air Conditioning and only Willy had to stand out in the hot sun

in front of the Rolls. Now Max, Shadow and Nikki have to stand out there with him. Where is the wisdom in

that?

Jack

At least they can keep Willy company...
He'll probably meet a lot more women, with the dogs next to him anyway! :D
(You might get a new housekeeper in the deal!)

You talking about Spyderlovers or in general. Cause there is a ton of them on here. One reason I don't come here much anymore.

They're everywhere. :banghead: You can't avoid them, so you might as well be prepared, for when they get too close...nojoke

The club? Is that Sam's Club? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Not just Cars

No excuses for leaving pets and children in hot cars. Here in central Texas where temps are 100+ just walking the dog in the afternoon sun can over heat them. They don't sweat and can't cool themselves panting under a hot sun. Would hate to see a law on walking dogs under a hot sun though. People walk dogs because they love them and losing one like that would hurt a lot; punishment enough.
