• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Delay in 2014's

Rumor has it that there will be a delay in delivery of the 2014 RT's. I can not confirm but date moved to December or January to allow for more quality testing. Lamont can you verify?

This was also posted in another thread. It would be good to have confirmation by a few more.

The good side: If true, BRP has decided to ship a quality product down the road, and not have dealers and customers deal with things as they happen. That is already an improvement--IMO.

:yikes: But then; my hopes for a ride home on the new bike before it's time to store it, are always tenuous up here in the NorthEast...
I suppose that I can hold my breath until spring...
And these are STILL just rumors until we can get some decent confirmation!

Right now I'm hearing the same thing. :dontknow::popcorn:

Do it right..!!

Due to the notoriously poor stocking and supply I would wager they have supplier problems. Possibly quality issues but good they get it right now when ryding is closing down in many parts but is hard on the eager..!! jmo...:dontknow:

 You can sure say THAT again...

Deliveries will be done after testing any heat problems or any other problems should occur? I hope this will come true.

Bob, when you take delivery, throw it on a trailer and come down south. We ryde all year long. I know it's difficult on you guys up in snow country, having to put you bikes up for half the year.

dealer just called about the delay on my 2014 would be out Dec or Jan witch we know but reason is safety issuer

Got the notice

I received noticed from my dealer yesterday afternoon that my 2014 RT S will not get to them till December.

:banghead::banghead::banghead: Though it will be delivered after hurricane season, so I guess that is something

my thoughts on the delay

ok i tend to think different than most of you on here. it is just my up bringing and the people i hung with that makes me think EVIL sometimes. now my thoughts on the delay. the survey that was done on here was done for a very good reason. yes they have a bad batch of 13's out there and they are trying to help with them, but the bad press they are getting is worrying them about sales on the 2014's. so i think they took all the problems that people told them about to address our problems but most important to them was to go over all the bad things that are going on and to address them to the 14's b4 they come out. once they get the 14 right and market it, than they will help the 13 owners with out problems.

now this is just my idea and i have no knowledge of what is going on BUT if i put out a product that is having problems and i got the amount of complaints that they did about their last model, that is what i would do and i would just keep telling the people with problems WE ARE WORKING ON IT AND WILL HAVE A FIX VERY SOON.

Doesn't it make good sense? :dontknow: Make sure that the current model is good before it goes out... TWO straight years of problems could be the end of the product line.
Have another team working on last year's bike...
