I notice my running ruff between 3300-3900 RPMs, don't matter the speed or the gear.
1. 4.5
2 5.0
3 4.0
Seems to be doing good for me. Stock air filter, 2Bros dual carbons ad super unleaded 93 octane
went out today to check mileage and the first thing i noticed was that it was running ruff 3300-4000RPMs and I got 33.1 MPG riding two up. Filled it up and it appears to be running fine now. I have not filled up yet but that looks like it has also improved 120 miles and half the bars, will check tommorow. 87 octane and in the high 80 all day.I notice my running ruff between 3300-3900 RPMs, don't matter the speed or the gear.
same for me after the update, surging backfiring, hesitation and it also seems to have less power, i just want it back the way it was. just for ur info i only use super fuel also.As I stated in another thread, I had mine done two weeks ago tomorrow, and after approx 300 miles, it is now starting to sputter, backfire and miss. Ireally notice it sputtering/missing around 20 mph to 35 mph.
Can just the fuel update be un-done ?????
I want it back like it was :gaah:
Thanks: but do you mean #1 (green mode) My understanding is this is not used on the Spyder.:dontknow:
I guess high compression is a relative term.

:agree:In addition to compression, operating temperature, timing and mix also affect when you get knocking. That is why is so confusing that the owner's manual recomends regular and the dealers recommend premium :shockedand apparently the experiences of a lot of members of this forum favor premium). Hard to believe that is a manual typo. Most vehicles that require premium have a label saying so around the gas cap. I will try to get a straight answer from BRP on this, maybe some others with better contacts should try too.
