Dash Mount from J.T.s

Merry Christmas to me! I was so excited to unwrap this dash mount accessory from J.T.s (site sponsor). My daughter said her purchasing experience was amazing. She called and they hooked her up with everything necessary. I can't wait to install this and use with my GoPro. I'll be busy this afternoon.

JT on an RT (ZUMO)?

I have a Zumo 550 that I'm taking off my Guzzi and put on my new RT Special (as soon as I pick it up) and the idea of placing it on the dash sounds better that down low by the key. Anyone done this and like it? I thought an added benefit might be less sun reflection on it too. Is this JT fairly easy to mount?

I liked the mount so much I went back to buy another ball, at one point had a GoPro and Zumo 220 mounted there on my '10RT.
Moved the mount to my '15RT, works great for still shots and with a cable running to the Battery Tender Quick Disconnect USB converter you can record video till the memory card fills up.

I installed JTs dash mounting bracket with several items... A phone holder for my Motorola phone, another phone holder that I use for my Garmin and a power supply. It works great, and is closer to eye level.

I purchased two mounting arms from JT; I actually only needed the shorter one...

You are right! I am Cavman and I installed one! It was simple.
The spacers' holes are slightly smaller than the screws. So you just put the screws through the bracket and screw the screws into the spacers as they just stay put and don't fall off. Align the screws with the holes on the Spyder and screw them down snug. Don't over tighten.

I did the same setup...you'll love it! The hardest part was getting the wiring down to the battery, but after that, it looks real clean!!! ENJOY:yes:
