• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Canyon Sitting on the Showroom Floor!

You didn't take any pictures Ron? 🫣
Guilty as charged. But it looks just like the pictures BRP has published. This was the 'All Bells & Whistles' model. Some really trick things for leaving the pavement. Just not sure how much off pavement it will be able to tackle. I still don't get the belt drive. We'll see.

I found the Mountain Motorsports website, and after a bit of clicking narrowed it to their Greenville, TN location, and CAN-AM.

It's showing two Canyons in stock. One Canyon XT (Sterling Silver Satin) and one Canyon Redrock (Moss Green).

My local dealer has a Red Rock model in stock. It was not yet assembled as of this morning. I am hoping to get a "test sit" this weekend. Not sure yet if they will let me test ride it.

That is seriously nice. A word of caution however, make sure the correct tumbler is installed in the correct piece of luggage. The tumbler for the trunk is slightly different from the ones supplied for the side bags as Shawn Smoak found out.

I cannot wait to see and try one. Looks like the assembly of the various parts has had some very serious product thought applied.

I saw Shawn a couple of days after he posted that video. He found out that removing the tumbler was not that big of a deal. He said there is a small pin that you push, then turn the tumbler, and it pops right out. He was very relieved.

OK, here is an update. I was able to sit on the Red Rock and found that it fit my long legs very well. Mounting it is a piece of cake; just put the left foot on the left peg and swing a leg over. Once up there the sitting position and handlebar height is "commanding". It will also be very easy to stand on the pegs and ride over rough terrain. The seat is much more supportive and comfortable than my Ryker Rally. I pre ordered the standard model and will give an update when it comes in.

After Shawn smoke made a video and saw car tires on a Spyder and said, "danger danger", I was done with anything he might say or have!
I believe he has to say that about the tires because he works for a BRP dealer, I'm sure he is smart enough to know the difference.

There are 3 different dealerships doing open house and inspections over the next 2 weekends. I am hoping one of them will have a Canyon in stock to sit on.

One of my local dealers got only two Canyons, a Redrock and an XT; I'm not sure if BRP is testing the US market, as it doesn't seem like lots of dealers got any, going by the lack of any real reviews. The dealer I got my F3S from told me they couldn't get any allocations this year, and they sell lots of RT's. Anyways, it looks way better in person, especially the Redrock in the Army Green. I love the more neutral seating position, and the mirrors on the bars. I'm trying to talk them into letting me take it for a test drive.

My dealer only got two RR's in. Said that was it. Stupid on their part not to keep the line running. Maybe they do another run of RR's.
