I just had dealer install new brake pads last week and they were growling before I got out of Danville. Rode two hundred mile last Saturday and good brakes but still growling when lightly applying brakes. Then wife went to visit her parents and when she left the parking brake light stayed on solid-red and "brake failure" crossed the dash panel.
On the way to Danville this morning bike went into limp-mode and read "BP5 failure". Shop wanted to keep bike since I wanted the second service[3000mile] done also.
The limp-mode happened once before for the same "BP5 failure" before when we were going to the dealer for a Polar Bear ride that morning, so they checked the bike and said battery cables were lose BUT????????? its happened again this morning
Any Ideas??????????HELP
Dealer has sold very few Spyders so techs not experienced on Spyders that much. There was a lot of head scratching before I left and said they would call BRP! They did give me a ride home[about 30 miles] and said they would come and pick me up when bike is fixed. First rate company!!!
