• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake light modulators

I have something similar installed along with the Triple-Play unit. Works as described. Is it necessary with the Triple-Play and the four lights plus the center tail lamp, maybe not but my wife was freaking out when I bought the Spyder so I installed this to ease her mind. She wasn't worried about me but cars around me.

I think you can disable the blink with a switch but I'm not sure about this module. When I bought it, it was call the Wake-Up and I don't see it on their site now.

Has anyone installed a brake light modulator on a Spyder? If so, what brand, did it work OK, or cause any computer problems?

Cheers.
I have been using the original which is says is not designed for LEDs, but it has been working now without fail or computer error for 10 months. The company also has a model designed for LEDs and I have installed it on a friends RT. He has had no problems for the past 2 months.

Newbie question. Are these add-on lights mounted in new locations or can they be put in the current housings, replacing the bulbs that are already on the Spyder?

Hyper-Lites are add ons mounted in a new location.
