• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: These forums are the place to go find out who is or isn't a safe vendor with which to deal. It's a shame that poor customer service happens; bu ti does and we all hope that by bringing some light on the topic, we encourage all vendors to step up their game... :thumbup:

Agreed. If someone posts about bad customer service from a company I want to know, especially if multiple people do the same and shows a trend.

On the flip side, also want to know about awesome customer service, like that given by TricLED, gloryder, and many of our other site vendors.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

January 2013 - Ordered 200 Dollars’ worth of items from Black Widow. I called about a week after ordering to check the status of my order. The employee told me my order was shipping that day and would be at my house in 3 days because they used Priority Mail. Another week went by and I called about the order again. The man on the phone told me that the employee I spoke with had been fired along with the rest of the warehouse staff. He told me that he personally placed the items in the mail and it would be at my house in 3 days. He gave me a tracking number and marked it as shipped through PayPal, charging my account. The items did not show, I filed a claim with PayPal and within 30 minutes had a refund. This shows that the company lied, gave me a bogus tracking number, charged my account, knowing they had not shipped anything. They were banking on me waiting too long to get my money back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I have order the items through Custom Dynamics, hopefully they will be better.

with the same company. Ordered parts for my birthday Sep 11th Got more noise and run around than a cat with his tail on fire (not that I would EVER do that). I agree. I would never order from this company. Life is to short and just too many GOOD people who are honest out there to put up with someone who seems just not give a :cus:.
 
I had the same issue with them, I filed a report with the local business bureau in the area and found other complaints. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and eventually Black Widow reimbursed me.

Ive noticed a trend on this fourm,it seems a lot of people are afraid to speak up
about bad service or bad product because someone says thats wrong to do it on a public forum,

I always thought that the truth got out in here pretty darn well...
We've got gripes about fuel smells, poorly handling Spyders, and cruddy aftermarket windshields all within about the last Month...
Never mind the poor dealer service, poor salesman behavior, and then there's BRP always telling somebody to get lost after a problem isn't covered under warranty... :shocked:
I kind of thought that folks in here whined about as much as they do out in the real world... :roflblack:

I have been flamed for supporting the customer and saying the product was probably at fault.

I have also been flamed for supporting the product and saying the customer was perhaps at fault.

My flip-flops were dependent on the situation and the facts presented at the time of the thread.

It's kind of the luck of the draw with who happens to be on the site at the time of the active thread.

On a site this large, you stand the chance of offending someone when offering an opinion. Some are more easily offended than others.
