balmy -35 on the way home in a few hours

Road to a dr. Appt today at -30 was there for a hour and the beast started up but the power steering does not work at that temp ( which thanks to spyderlovers I knew about this issue) The spyder does run hella good with the super cold air, if you can stand to ride in the super cold air. ( the doctors office was only about 5 miles away)

Its suppose to be -35 when I leave work at 6am. It is amazing how fast you get used to a temp, but I would have to ride in this a awful lot to do that. If you ride for more than 20 minutes you have to wear gloves when using a wheelchair, hands stick to metal.

I wish I could send some of this warmth your way. At one time I was used to the cold but no where near minus 35 degrees and add in the windchill you will create its colder than that.

How's this for crazy weather?--you have -35 in Northern MN and I have 40+ degrees up here in AK today. A nice change from the -20+ we were experiencing a short while ago.

cold temps

sure is nice here in mn. with NO SNOW. temps are chilly as SETHO talked about but here it could be upper 40s by mid week, got to love alnino or whatever they call it. as to cold cooler air for spydeee, she LOVES the much cooler air runs like wildfire. trying to keep some for next summer.

I thought I was doing really good when I rode the RT 35 miles to the dealer at 35 degrees above zero here in west Texas. Now Seth's riding when it's 65 degrees colder and his RS doesn't have heated grips. Seth, do you have pure antifreeze in your veins or is it a 50/50 mix?

Cold Weather

If something happens, I don't think the parts will be around for very long. I'm not limping away from the next one.

We do find drunk people who die up here in the snow banks and stuff. they are pretty froze but its way better than finding them later in the heat.



Its suppose to be just 32 up here this week and I just have the spyder to ride, my G/F has my ridgeline in the cities so its not a bad week to ride up here.
