We should have some info for you pretty soon as to changes to the Spyder line up soon. I wouldn't expect any big changes but it's always nice to see what they do each year. :doorag:
I discovered Can-Am Spyders for the first time through their television commercials. I live in one of the biggest metro areas in the country but by the time I got to the dealers all the RT Limited's were gone. There is one available now at Cowtown Powersports in Fort Worth but I'm not paying MSRP, which is the sale price there. All the the other dealers in the area sell below MSRP except for Cowtown. I'd purchase a 2011 RT Limited if the price was right, otherwise I'm waiting for the 2012 :spyder2:
I really like the pearl white RT limited and missed purchasing one by just two hours. A local dealer had a deep discount and had quoted me a very reasonable price. He had one Limited and two RTs, but all three were sold two hours before I arrived, early in the afternoon of the same day. All three had been on the floor for over 2 months.
The DFW area dealers have told me that they won't be receiving any more 2011 models. They expect 2012 Spyders to start arriving in the Fall.
It's over 100 degrees here most of July and August so I can wait. I do find it a bit odd, that Cam-Am didn't start running television commercials earlier in the model year.
I'm hoping that the RT-S will come in yellow or white, the most visible colors on the road, day or night. I'm looking forward to hearing anything and everything about the 2012 models.

I'm looking to surprise my hubby if I can get a deal on a 2009 or newer SM5 roadster. Had 2 and loved them, but sold those for a RTS. Want to ride separate, and have a choice. If they are coming out with a candy red in 2012, I will hold off on buying a used one.We should have some info for you pretty soon as to changes to the Spyder line up soon.
