Finally April

Welcome to the First Day of April. ....hyea:
Indiana has been all over the place for the temperatures. I hoping that this Spring season is going to stay. Time will tell.

April Showers are to bring on the May Flowers.

High today only 38° F cloudy and windy. Low of 21°F.

70’s to around 80 here through Monday, finally get a chance of rain Tuesday. Needles Hwy and Iron Mt rd now open for the year! I feel some wind therapy coming on the next few days.

Happy April 1. Headed for a high of 56 and sunny today. Warming up into 70's for the Easter weekend. We will take it. :yes:

From now till the end of the week we will be in the high 70s and low 80s. Perfect riding weather!

Spring has sprung here in the desert S.W. Wild flowers are starting to appear along the roadways. Pollen and who-knows what else is in the air. Causes runny eyes and stuffy noses. Happens this time every year. For the foreseeable future the highs will be in the low to mid 90s with lows in the mid 60s. Stay safe..... Jim

Update from us. Rode 80 miles. It showed 52-54 on the temp gauge, but it was ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccolddddddddddddddddddddddddddd. Felt like we were driving in the mid 30's. Wind coming from the NW. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow. We have got a bit spoiled now that we are here going on two years.

Dang Nabbit. The last few nights were cool enough to open some doors and windows to cool the house down for sleeping. Tonight at 8PM it was 80 in the house. The high today got to 95. I checked outside and it was still 86. Time for air conditioning to cool down. First time this season. I always hold my breath for the change over from heat to cold and hope everything happens like it should. Seems to be OK so far. Stay safe..... Jim

Good Friday in April

Welcome to the Sunshine and clear skies of Indiana, now 34°F. Man it was very cold this morning, 23°F. There was frost on the truck windshield. I hope this cold weather is on the way out for good.

Today 48°F and sunny, low of 30°F.

We were thinking of skiing too since it will probably be the last weekend but with the warm temps it would probably be more like waterskiing.

Yesterday was the first day this year in my mesh jacker. Highest I saw was 75° and it was a little too warm for the liner, but I'm happy to put the horsehide away. There will be many good riding days from now on...

43°F now and lots of Sunshine. Suppose to be another wonderful two days. So get out there and enjoy yourself and family.

Today 62°F with sunshine, low of 42°F
Sunday's high 70°F and sunny, low is 46°F.

I live in southern Indiana. Been freezing at night. But next week looks better. Can’t wait for it to arrive

Good day for ryding today. 70’s and sun made a good ryde through Deadwood and up to Terry Peak. The most tourist traffic I’ve seen in Deadwood in quite awhile.

Going for an Easter ride tomorrow. The desert S.W. will get near 100 degrees. Going to the mountains for sure. It'll be about 15 degrees cooler there. Stay safe and happy Easter..... Jim

Monday

Welcome back to a beautiful Monday, 52°F with some clouds. Yes it was a great weekend and enjoyed the time with some friends and family. I hope everyone stays healthy.

Today 75°F with some clouds, low of 52°F.

Very nice riding day for us. We left home at around noon, and it was 72. Mostly cloudy, but we could still feel the warmth of the sun. Another 100 miles to the tally on each F3.
