The beginning of April started out well, however we’ve taken a big dive in the last couple of weeks with highs in the 50s and an upcoming low next Thursday of 21°. Now that’s cold for April in Nebraska. But I look forward to a great riding season this year and damn the Covid it’s full speed ahead.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A beautiful sunshine day and 54°F now. The grass needs to be cut again. I try and cut a little each day, good exercise. You know the drill, cut and ryde, cut and ryde, as you can.

Supposed to be 70 later this PM. A nice bluebird day. We are going to take advantage and ride. Roller coaster weather the next few days. Just came off of two 50 degree days in a row...with some rainshowers.

Well the Weather People are having some fun this morning. Going to rain off and on all day, 39°F now. Late afternoon calling for some snow, 1" to 3" maybe even a little freezing rain. Oh yeah, a frost warning overnight too.
High of 43°F with rain, low of 27°F with some snow.

Would you believe.............? Yes, we got about a half hour of SNOW a couple hours ago. We have high 30's, so it is not sticking. We have a freeze warning out for tonight. Supposed to get down to 30 degrees. Interesting weather for AR. Breaking records for cold and snow. 70 miles north, Springfield MO. They are supposed to get a couple inches and have 25 degrees tonight. :gaah:

One thing we noticed since moving from AK is the wind. It comes on quite fierce and this time of year has a cold, cutting edge to it. The best way to describe it is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. :gaah:
The warm up is coming back. The two week forecast shows 9 days out of 14 in the seventies or higher. 50% chance of T-storms later this PM. Going to get some morning riding in.

Well the weather turned out with some sun yesterday afternoon and all the snow is gone. Just have a few puddles of water in the yard today. Now it's 39°F and sunny, clouds coming in the afternoon.

We got about 4 - 5 inches of snow.
The temps in the 30's.
It looks like the beginning of the winter season! ( off topic the sleds have been put away for the season) This is poor man's fertilizer.
But next week they are forecasting a Big warm up( 60's and 70's).

The desert S.W. is bright and sunny today. At 10:15 AM it was 79. Heading for a high of 89. Forecast shows a little cooling with the possibility of some rain the first of next week. But then right back into the 80s and 90s after Tuesday. I got back yesterday after a weeks trip to the Hill Country of Texas. I rode over 800 miles in 3 days of touring with old and new friends. The weather was just about perfect. Stay safe..... Jim
