• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anti freeze/ Prestone

After doing a oil change I noticed that my anti freeze is down below the cold level. When it is sitting for a few days should it be topped up to the cold line or between the cold and hot line. Thanks

Cold line, and be sure to use the correct type of anti freeze.

From the manual:

For best performance, use LONG LIFE
ANTIFREEZE (P/N 219 702 685) or
equivalent.

Yup!
If you overfill it: you're just putting antifreeze on the ground... :banghead:
And you don't want it, where a family pet can get to it.

Make a mental note as to where the coolant level is when cold. Ride it several times and then check it again when cold and unridden. If it's going down you may have a small coolant leak. It's common on this model for the hoses to move because of the oetiker clamps used by BRP. There are several threads around about that topic.

YES, all good TIPS. :coffee: I had a antifreeze leak and it was from the water pump. Dealer first thought it was a clamp. I had to remove the right engine side panel to find the leak.
