There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

they are saying that he flew into florida from canada, with a checked gun in his bag. when he git his bag, he went into the bathroom and loaded it, came out and started shooting, 5 dead, 8 wounded. after he ran out of bullets he started to walk away, chops chased him and told him to get on the ground, he did and they arrested him

Reports say he came from Alaska through Canadian air space, not from Canada. Again reports say that he checked his gun or guns in at what ever airport in Alaska he flew from. In addition, Air Canada also tweeted that they have no record of anyone by that name on any of their flights nor any paper work for checked guns on today's flights.
Reports also say that US officials say his flight from Alaska landed in Minneapolis and he then transited before landing on his flight in Fort Lauderdale. Earlier someone in Broward County did say he came from a Canadian flight but that has obviously been corrected.
Tragic in any event. Really hope to hear what sick motivation pushed him to do this. More lives ruined.

Reports are saying that he was given a General Discharge from the Alaskan National Guard, back in August...
