• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Random Meetup with another UK member

By sheer chance I was out for a short 'lets-practise-some-more-learn-how-to-ride-this-beast' tour of my local area on more 'interesting' roads than the usual flat 'lets stick to the valley roads, John' main routes. That is as brave as I have dared before - for today's ride I ventured up the hills and into the next couple of valleys. I pulled in to the car park at Stump Cross Caverns for a breather and a drink to recompose myself. The car park was almost deserted - except for another RTL !

No one looking like a triker was around, so after my drink, I headed out again to be greeted by the owners. It turned out to be @weeneil of this forum - so we had a nice long natter and wondered how many other UK members there may be around.

Nice to happen across a fellow Spyder Rider and forum member by sheer chance.

There's a mapping forum on this site - but I have yet to find out how it works. I'll investigate.

Hi John indeed it was amazing to see 2 Spyders in such a remote location. It was nice to meet you and when I suggested you join the forum, you already had . Stay in touch if I can help you tame " the beast " I will give it my best,
