• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Haven't ridden my bike in 2 weeks, today it was 50 degrees and i started the bike and saw abs lights, check engine, and limp mode. Any suggestions. I plan on calling the dealer first thing in the morning.

Put a charger on the battery and check the connections while you're there. And I don't mean the jumper terminals under the seat. You'll have to take the panels off on the left.

The Spyder doesn't like low voltage. :spyder:

+1, I had an issue with a corroded cable and once I cleaned it there were no more codes. You do have to pull the left side panels off.

Just to update you guys. I was able to use my jumpbox and get the bike started so I can ride it to the dealer successfully(in snow of course). Just got home and they left a message saying the computer or brain of spyder was wet, therefore damaged and BRP was replacing it parts and labor under warranty. I haven't spoke to them cause its late and their closed early for the holiday, but what if I didnt have a warranty. I better extend it before its to late.:(

Glad they found your problem and its covered by warranty. I'm curious if it was the actual computer module innards with water damage or was it the plug in connection to the wiring harness. I remember one other post where someone found water damage / corrosion on one of the wiring harness connections to one of the computer modules inside the Spyder.
