• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I was always told to check after hot and idle 30 sec. thats so all oil levels out everywhere. Then check it right away you only get about 2 good checks on it before you start to get false readings. thats why a lot of people were overfilling from checkin cold or not properly following guidelines...

    yes it is a gs and it is a sm5 and i got it with the wrong map downloaded in it so i loaded it off there site and then another member sent me his map which he tweeked in using his afr gauge and it seems to be really really close sooooooooo much better than before.

    i disagree with dyno its only going to get u so close i ordered pcv and love it but the dyno is not real world conditions i found my dynoed pre set map was off quite alittle bit after comparing to vtspyders map as he used afr gauge in real time tuneing jmo though:dontknow:

    i have have done y's with honda as well i think my bigest problem was the tw duals had SO MUCH air flow was running super lean on bottom end i tried all setups like i said pcv worked for me. I guess even know these machines are built the same all have hearts and brains all there own.

    I talked with DYno jet who makes pcv ONLY REASON 08 is not listed is they never tested on a 08 but as far as I know ever 08 is wired the same and intakes are same and so forth mine is working GREAT over 800 miles in last week running strong as ever:2thumbs:

    Im glad it worked for you i have a 08gs and tb duals with knfilter and no luck with jb and 02mod ended up going with pcv and runs like a raped ape no more poping on decel and hesitation is gone.

    I agee dudley I check after coming home most accurate reading imo. I am using oil after about 1000miles from blow bye. add a little to get it on dipstick and call it good.:2thumbs:
