• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If anyone ever puts a PC V or JB pro on a 2008 Spyder please post your findings.

I only had pc5 but if I was to get another fuel management module, it will be jbpro. I never liked how closed loop was handled on pc and from feedback from jbpro users, that is handled well.

Maps are interchangeable, you can have 10 maps you can change on the fly(pc must be hooked laptop unless you have their LCD) and 3 knob operated tuneable range, although I don't how well that works, looks like jbpro is a winner.

For me, just o2 mod now.

i dunno i just hooked up pcv on my 08gs and LOVE it after preliminary runs only had it on for bout 200miles but man night and day i ran regular jb and hated it imo. The guys at pc make jbpro for twobros. the way they explained to me they have the maufactoring capabilities to make fuel mangament systems for other companys. BUT they never put the time into them that they do for there own equipt. whether that is a true statement or not is another question. anywhos i am VERY happy with my pcv :2thumbs:

They are both good products. I just didn't like plugin o2 modifier that pc comes with it and jbpro seems to be more flexible.

By the way, you think you are flying now, take the stock air box off. :yikes: and hold on a little tighter. :D of course you take another step closer to voiding your warranty.

Mine is 09 se5.

I just removed my old jucebox and replaced it with the Juicebox Pro.I have a 2008 rs with Hindle exhuast and Evo Race air filter.(stock airbox removed).I am using map 3 and moved the lean/rich setting to +6.WOW what a difference. No flat spots,no backfiring or popping on decel, and alot quicker acceleration. As far as adjustments that can be made I can see where you could get in over your head if you are not carefull. For now I am going to run as is till I hear what others with similar set-ups are doing.

I might try to ride with the juicebox hooked up to a small laptop to watch how the bike performs under different loads, rpms and throttle position. It would be nice to know what maps and adjustments everyone is doing with the juicebox pro or power commander since we can share maps.

jim I will have mine done today hopefully. Did you call dyno jet directly? They would be able to help you out with if they fixed the 08 issue. I got about 800 into the screen, pc and auto tune just so you are aware.

and I am selling my jb 1st gen.

How did it go? Did you have it done at MPH?
I hear the PCV with Autotune is the absolute best way to go for Spyders
