• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    belt adjustment

adjusters... I'll be replacing my rear tire in the next week or two, and while I have everything apart, I'm gong to look closely at the possibility of adding jack screws to the system. On the drive belt side, a single tension screw is adequate because you always have some force pulling the...

    Rear tire??

rear tire... My Kumho is scheduled to arrive this evening... it was a coin toss between the Kumho and the Falken 512. I looked at the Falken 912 but didn't like the idea that it was an asymetrical tread design. To my way of thinking, a single rear tire should have a symetrical tread pattern...

Do you wear a helmet? Your choice?

What common sense? Let's face it, with the lack of common sense pulsing through the veins of the average American, the state needs to mandate things like wearing a helmet... for the good of all.

    Stereo Sucks, lol

To my way of thinking, the only way to get decent sound quality in any open vehicle, is to wear a good fully enclosed helmet with high quality ear speakers. You only have to roll the windows down in you car to realize the difference wind noise can make.

    Mileage pins

I submitted for my 5k pin in January, waited three months... no pin. Submitted again, waited almost another three months... still no pin. At Maggie Valley I talked to Chaz and he had one of the gals bring two over for SpyderRider and me. The cute young gal told me she also had a 100k pin in...

    Changing Oil

oil change... I changed mine today (3450 miles since last change), and it was black as coal. Scotty's right... with all of the work the oil has to do in these engines, around 3k between changes seems like a good standard. :agree:

    Resurrection...looking for Goldwing quiet...

SRC module... I figured after spending the big $$$ on the helmet, why hang a blob on the outside of it. I like the system, and it works really well. The only drawback is that the range is somewhat less than the other Cardo units. I wanted it mailny for the wireless use of my audio system...

    Resurrection...looking for Goldwing quiet...

I wore mine once with the standard collar, which is very soft. When you install the SRC collar, you will notice a difference. It's more rigid than the standard collar, and takes a slightly different technique to get on... especially if you wear glasses. I used to put my Scorpion Exo900 on...

    Nut Rubbing Frame Vibration Question

As I mentioned in a similar post, part of the problem is that the bolt is inserted in a slot, not a hole. The slot is needed so that the bolt can be inserted or removed because of clearance issues. If the bolt were held toward the top of the slot when tightened, and the bracket relieved...
