• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

so are you ready for pricing

Your dealer is crazy. Your bike is worth more than that, especially in three months, when the market picks back up again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

What would be a good selling price for 09 gs se5?

EBay is terrible for determining pricing at the moment. Very few Spyders have sold since September and the ones that have went for peanuts. If you can wait till April or May, things will pick up and you'll get the real value for your bike.

    just a little venting...

There's only one way to fix that. Tag along behind and annoy them for a while, then when you get into the twisties, blow their fenders off.:yikes:

    2010 RTS Trade In Value

I've been offered 14 on trade, which is about 15.2 with the tax credit. So called interested parties have offered me 13 and act like they are doing me a favor. I will be trading mine in, if I can actually get to the bike I want in time, before it's sold.....one of these days. Outside of the...

Can we have an ignore meter? It would be pretty handy to log on and see a banner stating you have been ignored x many times since your last login. That may help with some of the attitudes...

BRP called me back today about my heat issues.

Didn't flamingobabe get her heat issues successfully resolved by her dealer? I remember someone or two or more saying so, but don't recall who exactly. All I remember was it took some effort and cost.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Met some Non-Spyderlovers.com owners today

Amazing how many parties owning or interested in Spyders have never heard of us. I've thus far met two people who are on this site when out and about. All others have not even googled Spyder. I think that in itself explains why there's so much bitterness surrounding the basics on this site at...

lets see if we could do this

Altitude and ambient temps seem to have a lot to do with the perceived heat too. I for instance feel more heat if I'm riding in the upper 90s in Phoenix, rather than the same temps at higher altitudes. Not to make things complicated, but it does happen to be a more complicated issue.
