• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    question about oil change, I do not have a maintence manual.

    I did the first oil change on my wife's F3-T and took it to the dealer for them to do the rest of the first service checks. Got the filter kit from Bajaron and bought my own oil. The cost for the 3K service was reduced significantly doing it this way!

    I've got an F3-S and the wife has an F3-T. About a month ago, we did a ride to the Smoky Mountains. On the way there, we did 640 miles on day 1. Rode the entire distance, 910 miles, on the way home in one day. The F3 is definitely great for long rides!

    I think the floorboards might help getting on and off only if they're in Position 1 or 2. My wife has some aftermarket boards on her F3-T, in the stock Position 3, and they are a tad too far forward to help. I have the BRP floorboards on my F3-S in Position 5, and they're much too far forward...

    I had a similar experience when I did the first oil change at ~3100 miles on the wife's F3-T - just enough fine shavings to cover the tip of the magnetic plug.     September Release Event??? One thing does intrigue me about this announcement - it's the "2017 Early Release". By removing the RS from the line up, there is one noticeable hole in the line up - the pure sport machine. Maybe there's another shoe yet to drop and they're waiting for the fall...
