• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2017 Line

Whenever.....

Don't care...have the best and will stay with it till it's an antique..I am already an antique so it has some catching up to do....:thumbup:

At this early time (10:38) it appears that the 2017 line up is missing the RS, RSS, and the ST versions. Does this mean the end of the 998 Rotax?

There is a new "touring" version F3 that comes with a top trunk--which is removable. With the new styling of the F3, it is making our trusty RT's starting to look long in the tooth. Time will tell.

Is BRP getting leaner and meaner, or are they making room for something yet to be announced?
I am hanging on to both RT's and not biting on the F3--although I like the front end looks better. Not enough to make me drop another $15K to $20K with a trade in.

Also dropped the price on the F3 by$2650 - my guess is to fill the void left by the departure of the RS. Seems like a pretty good sign that there may not be an RS - the F3 becomes the entry level Spyder

The new rear trunk and arm rests for the F3 Limited will also fit the 16's as well. Looks like no more 998's. nojoke Tom :spyder:

I love the new line-up. They did a great job, I know some really like the old models but they are not selling at dealers here.

the new trunk on the F3L is large in the right way, the new colors are great and more of them for each model.

Putting the F3 and F3S in the price point of the older models makes the system and processes more efficient.

Good od moves all around, anyone want a really nice condition RTL?

I like the idea of a removable trunk (wish it was that way on my RT), but I would like a real world report of how well 2 helmets will fit into that trunk. My guess would be that maybe 2 medium 3/4 or 1/2 helmets will fit. It would be nice if they could fit 2 XL full face helmets. Then you would have something.

The video shows two full helmets side by side.

one other note, the suspension arms that were orange or red before are now yellow on the F3S, I would imagine that is to follow the theme one the F3 Daytona.

Yes but are they two small helmets, or two medium helmets. Shell sizes increase as the head size goes up!

Only on the daytona edition. F3-S still offers matte black frame. F3 still offers gloss black frame.

Interesting that there is now no way to order a gloss black frame in any color with an SE transmission.....
