• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Can she teach me?

I really enjoyed how her ear plugs matched her glasses. Yep, that's the ticket!

    Handicap Stickers

I punched holes in my wifE's placard. When she rides with me, I zip tie it on so it can't be easily stolen. Then when it's time to go again, I just cut the zip tie and toss it.

When to put a fork in it?

Take it to a dealer. Sounds to me like you have a throttle spring or an automatic choke failure. Either way, no big deal. Just get it fixed before it drives you crazy.

Really need your input!! Leangth of 2x10 ramps to use?

...and make double sure you secure the ramps downward before loading or unloading. Maybe run a motorcycle strap over the end of the ramp closest to the trailer and tie it down. Otherwise expect the ramp to pop up. It will damage your Spyder if it pops up.

    How difficult to ride

I saved 50% on my insurance because of the 2 wheel class and getting the MC endorsement. You may not need it in California, but it is a really good idea to get it. The traffic here can be nightmarish, and the training helps a lot. The only 3 wheel school I know of in California is...

    CONSUMER REPORT

I had a Yamaha 50 that needed repair so often that I gave it away. I had a Suzuki that never needed anything. I had a BMW that was middle of the road. So what? If you have high performance machines, you will have repair bills.

    Reliability

Negativity buys more negativity. My Viper Red 2012 RT has been as reliable as ANY car I've owned. At least for the 25,000 miles I've ridden it over the last two years.

what makes some people just plain nasty

Some people are vituperative and churlish. It is because they have impoverished spirits.

    How difficult to ride

please taske the riders course. If one for three wheelers is not offered in your area, take it for two wheelers. Then use the certificate and get your motorcycle endorsement. Then go to a dealer and ask for a test drive. Even if you decide to not buy one, the class will make you a better...

    Need boot suggestions

I bought a pair of red wing harness boots in 1978. They've been resoled several times. I polish them with scuff guard. I wear them while ryding. Went down once. Hard. No injuries to feet. yes, they really are almost 40 years old.

What a difference a few pounds makes!

Check your oil too. My Spyder uses about 4 oz of oil ever 500 miles. Some use more, some less.

    Heard this today about Spyders

When I hear that, I ask the person if he's seen Danika ryding hers on TV. He usually says, "No." Then I say, "Well, I think you're at least as strong as a girl." Then I laugh. He doesn't laugh though.
