Heard this today about Spyders

Showed a coworker a picture of my :spyder2:. He said you bought a reversed trike. Huh? Uh...He said those are for riders that can't balance or hold a 2-wheel motorcycle up. I replied "really?" SMH, I said it's an awesome machine!

"For those that can't ride 2 wheel motorcycles"... REALLY, if you look at my profile pic/avatar I am pretty sure it proves that Spyder's are ridden by those of us that can (and still do) ride 2 wheeled motorcycles but for what ever our reasons we also choose to ride great machines called Spyders.

Like Storm-Trooper, I too would like to know what your coworker rides!!!

Although we should all expect a certain level of stupidity from "John Q. Public" it never ceases to amaze us that they still haven't learned how ignorant they truly sound when they open their mouth.

I honestly believe he doesn't have a car. I've always seen him as a passenger :dontknow:. ? Rode to the store tonight, a guy walks by and said awesome bike! Spyders are incredible machines!!!

envy is a sad thing and causes those useless outbursts...normal folks would ask if you like it and simply say it is not really for them. Envy requires insults..:banghead::banghead: but it does not change how much fun and ability these machines give and require...:2thumbs:hyea:

I have talked to people with that same frame of mind. like the man said jealous, two wheels
are fun but the spyder takes it to a different level of fun. so let them people who don't have one
think that and you just get on yours -put the smile on - and ride.:thumbup:

When I was getting my bike out of storage the other day the guy said to me" I have never had a bike with training wheels" , so I of course asked him what he rode and he said nothing- I then told him my old marauder and Suzuki m90 were trainers for this bike .

then I did a burnout all they way thru 2nd gear laughing at him all the way home

I am having some carb issues with my GS, and I think I may have to sacrifice it to have some of the down payment for another spyder. I have had some health issues over the past several months and I am just getting things back together. Nice ride by the way. Think spring.
