• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Anybody heard from Lamont?

You should be flattered that an industry giant such as BRP is afraid of you. Maybe you should be considered an industry giant as well?:2thumbs:

Anyone want to wake up BRP?

I love my Spyder, and I appreciate all the views people have expressed on this topic, BUT... After spending $20,000 (Spyder + accessories) I should NOT have to: sit and watch it for 30 minutes every time I finish riding waiting for it to catch fire, while riding be preoccupied with the chance...

Anyone want to wake up BRP?

Lets see - recent fire issues, steering, parking brake, DPS, GPS, locking in gear, lack of dealerships locally, lackadaisical customer support from BRP - we should ignore these and just ride? Easier said than done. How many of those defending BRP would change their tune if any of the above...

    scorpian I600 alarm

Did you set the sensor? My alarm was installed by the dealer when I bought the Spyder and they set the range. (I'm just too lazy to get the manual out I guess!)

    scorpian I600 alarm

I have it - the perimeter sensor is located in the tail behind the seat. I suppose it could be moved to the center of the bike depending on if there is any slack in the wiring harness, which on mine is specific to the Spyder. Also, if I remember correctly from reading the manual once, the range...

    "Do Not Ride" Recall

Let's not "shoot the messenger", I read everything to get an idea if there is something to worry about, resolution or not, etc., I don't want a censored version. Honest, open communication is why we are here, isn't it? Also, when the steering issues were first brought to light, BRP, and some...

    Good News/Bad News

re-posted from another thread... My local dealer had 60+ units (ATVs & Spyders) in stock but that wasn't enough for BRP, dealer couldn't handle the additional inventory dumping so BRP pulled all their units and off they went. Another good dealer bites the dust.:cus: Add: What with the recent...

Making the Spyder even more Stable

I posted the pic because I thought it was interesting - but I also can't figure out why on an MP3?:dontknow: It would make more sense to buy a 2 wheeler and add the extra wheels to make it kinda-sorta a non-leaner like the Spyder, at less than half the cost.

Scorpio alarm with perimeter sensor, plug and play wiring harness for the Spyder. Works great. Warns the intruder and if they don't back off within a few seconds goes to full alarm and sends a signal to the remote.
