• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sorry I don't get it, Locked open? The seat is opened by pushing down and turning the key, via a cable. No electricity is needed.

    Sorry I don't think so. The angle of the shocks is different on the 2014 and I believe it is longer.

    I have a brand new hard side case for the front trunk for sale that I just removed from my new 2014 RT Limited. I use the soft carry bags for the sides.

    Seat Cushions

    Go to a Harley store, they have 3 different sizes of seat pads. They really let the air cool you in the hot months. For extra cooling put a little water on the pad, found this out by leaving it on the seat and caught a quick little rain shower. Riding it home it was like I had a A/C unit under me.

    I have the RT limited and right now don't see the need to replace shocks or the sway bar. It handles better than the old 2012 with those added. Ride it a while and if it does not handle the way you like then make some changes. :thumbup:

    Have a Harley Ultra and a Hayabusa. I will be selling the Harley and keeping the busa. Had a 2012 RT-S, had no problems doing 500-600miles days. just got the new 2014 RT Limited in Cognac and it is even smoother than the 2012. Make the switch you will not be dissapointed

    try pushing down on the lid while turning the key. it will take the pressure off the latch.
