• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Should I get something showing I have bought the BRP Extended Warranty?

I didn't get a card, but BRP did email me that I had it.

    Will a BajaRon Bar off a 2018 F3T fit a 2020+ RT?

It should as I took the Ron bar off my 2015 F3 and put it on my 2020 RT. No issues with the install.

At what mileage did you buy your first set of replacement tires?

Our frist RT was a 2014 limited and changed the rear at 6,000 miles to a car tire. Instantly improved handling. Tried a number of different car tires until 2018 when I discovered Vredestein Quatrac. I now run both RT'S with Vredestein Quatrac tires on all three. With those I average 60,000 on...

Installed a new General Altimax R45 today - My tips!

I do the same. What I did to secure the front wheels was I installed cement anchors in my carport. I then screw in eye bolts and strap the front A arms down. I also remove the muffler, but I no longer disconnect the ride height arm. Once the brake caliper and speed sensor are removed, I raise...

Changed the oil & both filters, now it's got Shifting Issues! Ideas?

I haven't timed it, but since you need to bring the oil up to operating temperature to check the level. I let it idle until the fans come on then turn it off and check. Never had an issue.

Passenger USB ports dead - any ideas on why?

I take it from your message that this worked at one time, and now it doesn't. Your fuse boxes are in the frunk. If yours has the liner, then you need to unzip it to see the fuse boxes. Pull the covers off and the fuses are marked for what function it covers. You can pull the fuse to check it...

Is there a non-OEM Fuel Filter alternative for an F3?

I found it interesting that when I changed the fuel filter on my 2020 RT the one that was on it from the factory had Wix 33095 printed on it.

Anyone help with a diagram of a Rear brake caliper rebuild or hints/tips? Any kits?

As jcthorne pointed out the only choice you have is caliper replacement. Found this out in 2014 when our RT rear caliper failed.

Wondering how many owners do not know this is possible?

I have known about this since our first Spyder in 2013. I have taken it for granted that every owner knew this, but last year, after jump starting an RS and while waiting for her to follow me to my place so I could do an oil change for her, I heard her shut her Spyder off. Turns out she needed...

Anyone replaced Spark Plugs on F3-S? Is it really a big job?

I have replaced the sparkplug at 28,000 miles on all my spyders (2014RTL, 2015 F3S, 2018 F3L, 2020 RTL, 2021 STS) and not one of those needed it. I have replaced them after 35,000 miles on my 2020 RTL and the plugs still looked great. I am now waiting until they have 50,000 miles before changing...

Cannot get the rear pulley to seat properly - any ideas?

I have done more than 10 rear tire changes over the years, and I have always just tossed the rubber dampeners into a bucket. When reassembling, I would clean them and inspect them for wear. I would lubricate them and place the drive sprocket in place, making sure the wheel spokes align with the...

Installed SpyderExtras Billet Aluminum Handlebar Riser Kit - not comfortable??

The controls on the 2024 will not fit on previous bars. BRP will have different bars, but dealer told me that they are not available yet.

Does this sound like a Good Deal on a 2018 RT to you?

Last Oct I paid $18,000 for an 2019 F3 limited with 4,500 miles on it, so it looks like you are in the ball park.

Does the rear pulley need to come off to change the tire? How?

I have been doing this for years with never an issue, but whatever makes you comfortable using, and soapy water works for tire mounting also.

Does the rear pulley need to come off to change the tire? How?

Tip- When reinstalling the rubber cushions apply white lithium grease to them as it makes sliding the drive pulley on easy. Lithium grease dosn't harm rubber. Any auto parts store should have white lithium grease in spray cans.

Any ideas to get a stripped Transmission drain plug out?

For 2020+ RT's One of the factory bright ideas was to install the bolt that holds the brake rod on with the locking nut directly under the transmission drain plug. Set this way you cannot get the 6mm Allen to go all the way in due to the angle. After messing up one of the drain plugs. I looked...
