• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    del mar va

Delmarva Bike Week, Sept. 11-15 I'm sure I'll be bouncing around between OC and Salisbury throughout the week/weekend. I live in the area. However, my daughter will probably be on the :spyder2: while I ride my Goldwing/sidecar. I've seen a lot more :spyder2:'s in the area so you'll probably...

    Elios Motorcycle

Elio in the Flesh Got a chance to sit in one of their mules today at the King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania. It was a little tight side-to-side and downright claustrophobic for anyone crawling in the rear seat. But the driver's seat had plenty of legroom and the seat reclined comfortably...

    Spyderlover Members

Not This Year, Unfortunately Although this is the first spyder gathering (and the closest) since I got my :f_spider:, I won't be able to make it this year. I lived in Albany for a few years and agree that this area has some great, scenic rides. I didn't have a bike at the time I lived up...

Unintended side effect of owning a Spyder

My 21yr. old daughter started riding with me in my sidecar when she was 12. I earned my "coolest dad in the neighborhood" merit badge back then! :joke: She continued to ride with me until she got her own bike last year. Now that I have the :spyder2: she still thinks I'm cool. But somehow I...

    25 miles from home...

Glad you made it home safely. I recommend anyone traveling in this area try to avoid the "Suicide Circle" (I495 around DC) at any cost! Bruiser, this would have been way out of your way, but for anyone traveling south to north on I95 in the mid Atlantic area, you can miss Baltimore and DC...

Another Flavor Here's a similar effort: www.tanommotors.com. I talked to them at SEMA for the past couple of years. Still waiting for production to start. Although they're both out of my range, it's always good to have a plan in case I hit the Powerball!

    New Owner........Finally!!!

Thanks to all for the welcome and best wishes! The farkle additions will be a slow process, but I do have a "loose" plan. As always, it's subject to change! For now, I'm enjoying getting used to a different kind of 3-wheeler......and it's all good!

    New Owner........Finally!!!

I don't know if anyone is keeping track of the length of time between Spyderlovers join date and actual Spyder ownership, but if they are I might be in contention for one of the longest! But it's all over now because I finally took delivery of my 2012 RS SM5 today ! It was a trade-in at...

Proposed Trip - Help Me Decide Where To Go, Visit, Stay

Hawk, :agree: with the others regarding the BRP and Skyline Drive. They're well worth the extra time it will add to your trip! If you take that route northbound, you might want to do a return trip that hugs the coastline going thru NJ, Cape May/Lewis Ferry into Delaware, Delmarva Peninsula...
