• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is wrong with the northeast or any other members? Only a few more days to preregister for Spyderquest and only a handful have registered. The Lake George region has some of the best riding in the country, plus plenty of shopping for everyone. Special attraction with this particular time would be the hot air ballon festival of over 80 hot air ballons which will be a sight to behold. This group putting this on have spent a lot of time and effort to make this a great event. How about coming out and seeing how the northeast can treat people.

:yes::yes:

It's not just the North East..People seem not to want to go to gatherings unless it's Spyderfest or Lamont's BBQ..It's become difficult to coordinate even small events anymore and I can understand why..It costs a lot of money and with this economy people don't have that much to spend and it's hard to take off time from work to go to all the events. You've got to make choices but I think it's more regional than anything..Many don't mind riding a thousand miles each way but it takes time and money. I love the adirondacks...it's where I grew up, less than an hour away from Saranac Lake and Lake Placid..The event they're planning is top notch with a lot f things to do in a beautiful setting...I'm stil trying to find time to go but I have to put in in somewhere between moving to another state and my wife's hunt for a new job.

It's going to be a GREAT party!:ohyea::yes:
And it'll grow for next year!
Those that miss it will just have to listen to the rest of brag about the great times that are going to be had!

My registration went into the mail on Tuesday. It isn't due until August 1. Hopefully, a last minute rush is coming!

yep! Our registration went in the mail today. Hope I'm only the first of many "last minute" registrations !

There were only 40 or so people at the first Spyderfest. When you all have such a massive good time and post tons of pictures here you will have a bunch of people kicking themselves for not going this year and they will find a way to get there next year.

Hello all

I know it is hard, I have for years run events big and small and man-o-man it is hard work. My hat is off to you for all your hard work.

I will not be able to go due to work and funds. By the time I could get up there Saturday I would only have 3 hours then time to run back home.

Now I go to Americade and Killington each year but only for part of the day.

Please keep the faith brother it takes time but they will come.

I talked with Spyderpops yesterday and we plan on going but have not registered yet. There are a few things I have to work out to make it happen but I really want to make it. Harvey has not been up that way and like you said the riding is great. Well worth the trip guys. Let's support their effort.

I'm not sure how, but Teddy & I are gonna do everything possible to make it this year

We've been to SITA for the past 2 years and now that the New York Spyder Ryders are taking over the Event:bowdown: there's no way we can miss out :firstplace:

A lot of people have different excuses but guys have fun and I'm sure some of us will make time and be there.:yes:

Not This Year, Unfortunately

Although this is the first spyder gathering (and the closest) since I got my :f_spider:, I won't be able to make it this year. I lived in Albany for a few years and agree that this area has some great, scenic rides. I didn't have a bike at the time I lived up there, but I enjoyed many of the roads in my Triumph TR6. This year, between buying the :f_spider: and two kids in their senior year of college (one studying abroad in Norway), there's not much left.:sour: But I'll be ready next year!
