• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

.....Went to the Auto Fair in Beckley yesterday and seen on of these for the first time...IMG_20130720_114842_178.jpgIMG_20130720_114845_350.jpgIMG_20130720_114855_224.jpgIMG_20130720_114913_377.jpg

said it had a 1400cc kawasaki engine. And no I didn't ask him how much it cost..:lecturef_smilie::roflblack:

Yes it looks like a T-Rex or a good clone. I looked into them before I bought my spider as I would love to have one but at $50,000 there is no way I could justify the cost. For that price I would go buy a badass Tesla S.

Yes that is a T Rex

You bet that is a T REX here I am taking a test ride and then a test drive:yikes: in the T Rex
WOW, the Silver rig is not a T Rex it is available in L.A. CA. at about 30K you can pick your
own drive train.
When I get OLD I will buy one, but not ole enough yet as long as I can throw my leg up over
a bike or trike that is what I will be riding....

The T-Rex just doesn't seem to have enough shoulder room for 2 people. I would not like that or either my wife. Don't get me wrong, close quarters are alright sometimes but on a long trip the missis and me would be tearing each others heads off before too long. It is cool looking but that about all I got good to say about it.

Another Flavor

Here's a similar effort: www.tanommotors.com. I talked to them at SEMA for the past couple of years. Still waiting for production to start. Although they're both out of my range, it's always good to have a plan in case I hit the Powerball!

Curious.. did the engineering and materials live up to the MSRP?
Well, I agree. The price tag is a bit much for most folks, but I have to say that money could not replace the experience that you get when driving on of these machines. Power to weight ratio is unbelievable!! The torque that this thing puts out is something that needs to be experienced. A grown man can literally piss in his pants if he's not ready from the start. I know cuz I almost did during a test drive. Anyways, engineering and materials are worth about $30,000 - $40,000 to me, but with exclusivity the price goes up. Well worth the money to me and loads of fun beating the exotic cars off the line. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds!!!

I've heard about Limiteds getting up into the 38K range; once you add the 622 trailer and a couple of farkles to the pile...
So is 50K actually THAT crazy of a price? :dontknow:
